The Founder and Executive Director of the Human Rights Likeminded Office (HRLO).
Before founding HRLO, Ish-Hurwitz served as a Human Rights delegate at the Permanent Mission of Israel to the United Nations in New York and a Human Rights officer with the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights at the Human Rights Council secretariat in Geneva.
As a diplomat, he initiated the first LGBT-focused event at the United Nations headquarters and facilitated his delegation joining the LGBT Core Group. He served as Vice Chair and Rapporteur for the Committee on NGOs at the UN Economic and Social Council. He is also a proud founding member of Hoshen (the Israeli LGBT center for education and change).
